Softball Recap: Bassick Comes Up Short

Bassick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bethel Wildcats, falling 23-0.

Bassick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Bethel, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Bassick will square off against Weston at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bethel, they will take on Harding at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Presidents have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.08 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
