Baseball Game Preview: Casa Roble Rams vs. El Camino Eagles

For the second straight game, Casa Roble will face off against El Camino. The Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Casa Roble has five straight wins, El Camino has 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Casa Roble's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on El Camino with a sharp 10-0 victory.

Aiden Lopez made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Casa Roble is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 10-11-1 otherwise. Lopez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Braydon Wilson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Connor Bowman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Casa Roble's record now sits at 14-12-1. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.
