Basketball Recap: Milburn Comes Up Short

Milburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 109-39 loss at the hands of the Stuart Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 437th, while the Hornets are ranked 54th).

Milburn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Stuart, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1.

Milburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stuart, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 114-38 victory against Caney on the 15th.
