It was a good run, but Walhalla unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Palmetto Mustangs by a score of 3-2. Walhalla were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Palmetto apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Taylor Payne and Geraldine Alanis scored both of Walhalla's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Palmetto, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record.

Coming up, Walhalla will be playing in front of their home fans against Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Walhalla are facing Crescent at the right time seeing as Crescent are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Palmetto, they will square off against Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
