Softball Recap: Christoval Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christoval). They put the hurt on the Brady Bulldogs with a sharp 17-6 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Christoval, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Brady, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Christoval didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-2 win against Miles on the 11th. As for Brady, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Florence at 2:30 p.m. The game will give Florence their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
