Recap: Browne Bruins vs. Carl Hayden Community Falcons
The Browne Bruins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Carl Hayden Community 84-53. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Browne in their matchups with Carl Hayden Community: they've now lost five in a row.
Browne lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Raevonta Hill, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Hill's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Desmyn Beavers-smith was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Browne bumped their record down to 4-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Carl Hayden Community, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Browne will stay at home for another game and welcome West Point at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Carl Hayden Community will take on Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
