Recap: Big Sandy Wildcats vs. Alba-Golden Panthers
Even though the Alba-Golden Panthers scored an imposing 67 points on Thursday, the Big Sandy Wildcats still came out on top. Big Sandy snuck past Alba-Golden with a 71-67 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Big Sandy.
Leading Big Sandy to victory were Trey Coleman and Malijah Francis. Coleman scored 25 points, while Francis scored 41 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Coleman has scored at least 25% of Big Sandy's points. Jadavian Sanders was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 9 assists and 3 steals.
Big Sandy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Alba-Golden, they bumped their record down to 2-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
