Brayden Meredith posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
