Volleyball Recap: Mcmichael's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

McMichael waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in September.

McMichael never let Bartlett Yancey on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Bartlett Yancey still got an impressive performance from Lyndsey Smithers, who had 13 assists and seven digs. Smithers has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.

McMichael's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Bartlett Yancey, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 16-5 record.

As of now, neither McMichael nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
