Soccer Recap: King's Academy's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

King's Academy extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Trinity Prep. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trinity Prep Saints a 1-0 shutout. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Saints are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

King's Academy's one-goal win came courtesy of Mia Mackrey, who's now up to 26 this season.

King's Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which somehow still isn't as good as their 14-3 record this season. As for Trinity Prep, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

King's Academy has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on the 14th. Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
