Softball Recap: Mt. Gilead Indians vs. Fredericktown Freddies
Mt. Gilead dropped their record down to 3-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 18-2 to the Fredericktown Freddies. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.
Mt. Gilead saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Schrote, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
As for Fredericktown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Mt. Gilead has already played their next contest (against Crestline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fredericktown will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' game: after the Indians face off against Northridge, they'll take on Fredericktown again at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
