Basketball Recap: Lucas Valli?res Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Kellogg

Timberlake's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kellogg Wildcats, sneaking past 58-55. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their 28-point performance the contest before.

Timberlake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Valli?res, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Brant Rush, who posted 11 points.

Timberlake now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kellogg, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Timberlake has already played their next game, a 91-83 win against Genesis Prep Academy on the 23rd. As for Kellogg, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grangeville at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
