Football Game Preview: Whittell vs. The Meadows School

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Whittell. They will take on The Meadows School at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Whittell strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 45.43 points per game.

Whittell took an ego-bruising loss against Virginia City two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Everything came up roses for Whittell against Pyramid Lake last Friday as the team secured a 50-14 victory. No one put up better numbers for Whittell than senior Isaiah Womack, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 297 yards and 4 touchdowns. In fact, with 17 tackles Womack was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, The Meadows School suffered a grim 8-30 defeat to Calvary Chapel Christian.

Whittell's win lifted them to 3-4 while The Meadows School's defeat dropped them down to 3-4. We'll find out if Whittell can add another positive mark to their record or if The Meadows School can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Whittell's step.
