Football Recap: Corbin Piles Up the Points Against Harlan County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corbin). They blew past the Harlan County Black Bears 53-6 on Friday. Given the Redhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Black Bears are ranked 85th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Corbin now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Harlan County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corbin will face off against Whitley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Redhounds will be up against the Colonels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Harlan County, they will take on Perry County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
