Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spain Park). Everything went their way against the Pelham Panthers on Friday as the Spain Park Jaguars made off with a 10-0 win. The Jaguars' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Spain Park's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Pelham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Spain Park duke it out with Briarwood Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pelham, they will venture away from home to face off against Bessemer City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
