The Sacred Heart Crusaders will head out to take on the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sacred Heart has four straight victories, Forrest County Agricultural has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Sacred Heart's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Resurrection Catholic as Sacred Heart made off with a 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Resurrection Catholic's batters probably weren't too happy with Katy Kilgore, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (she gave up zero walks). Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Kilgore.
At the plate, Jana Phillips was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Cambrie Baugh, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3.
Sacred Heart was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Forrest County Agricultural lost 19-5 to Stone on Thursday.
Forrest County Agricultural saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Palyn Brock, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Brock a new career-high. Mallory Boyte was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.6 runs. As for Forrest County Agricultural, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sacred Heart has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Forrest County Agricultural struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
