Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Takes Down Ranked Andrean

Lafayette Jefferson faced Andrean in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bronchos came out on top against the Fighting 59ers by a score of 2-0. The Bronchos were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Fighting 59ers, so the Bronchos were just returning the favor.

Lafayette Jefferson's offense was headlined by Azlan Rodriguez and Joshua Waller, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Erik Ayala Gallardo and his 19 assists. Finally, K'Maury Moten kept Lafayette Jefferson's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
