Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Grove's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pleasant Grove had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Salem Hills Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Vikings have posted against the Skyhawks since August 30, 2016.

Pleasant Grove was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-21.

Lexi Brown paced Pleasant Grove's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brown got some help from Marley McCandless and her 34 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Salem Hills, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Pleasant Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Springville on the 30th. As for Salem Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Timpview on the 30th.
