Basketball Recap: Wicomico's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Monday

Wicomico won the last time they faced Crisfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Wicomico Indians walked away with a 61-50 win over the Crisfield Crabbers. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Crabbers are ranked 258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wicomico's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Crisfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Wicomico will host Pocomoke at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crisfield has already played their next game (against Mardela), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
