R'Mello Watson was a one-man wrecking crew for Phalen Leadership Academy as he went 5-for-8 to rack up 12 points along with eight boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Watson a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Raymond Haggard, who posted nine points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Traders Point Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 67-66 to Irvington Preparatory Academy. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Irvington Preparatory Academy 22-18 in the first quarter.

Phalen Leadership Academy's victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games. As for Traders Point Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
