Basketball Recap: Caldera Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Caldera entered their tilt with Mountain View on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Mountain View Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 61-43. The game marked Caldera's most dominant victory of the season.

Caldera's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Mountain View, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.

Caldera is taking a road trip to take on Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Summit knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Caldera likes a good challenge. Mountain View has already played their next contest (against Ridgeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
