Wyoming East skates past Bluefield with ease

Recap: Wyoming East Warriors vs. Bluefield Beavers

In what's become a running theme this season, the Wyoming East Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bluefield 60-32 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Wyoming East who now have nine in a row.

Wyoming East was led to victory by Cadence Blackburn and Maddie Clark. Blackburn scored 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Clark scored 16 points along with five assists and five steals. Clark has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gabby Cameron, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.

Wyoming East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Bluefield, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Wyoming East will take on Mercer Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Wyoming East is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mercer Christian Academy in West Virginia (Wyoming East is ranked fourth, while Mercer Christian Academy is ranked 44th). As for Bluefield, they will head out on the road to challenge Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
