They strolled past Great Oak with points to spare on Friday, taking the matchup 21-6. Great Oak can consider this payback for the 3-41 defeat they dealt Temecula Valley the last time the teams encountered one another.

The victory bumped Temecula Valley's record up to 4-2. The loss dropped Great Oak's record to 1-5.

Next week Temecula Valley take on Murrieta Valley at Murrieta Valley HS Stadium at 7:00 PM. These teams both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games. Great Oak will be staying on the road, facing off against Murrieta Mesa. Neither Great Oak nor Murrieta Mesa could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
