Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wabasha-Kellogg). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Dover-Eyota Eagles 79-76. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted against the Eagles since February 22, 2022.

Dover-Eyota lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mat Matejka, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Meyers, who had 17 points.

Wabasha-Kellogg's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Dover-Eyota, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 16 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.
