It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Oriskany ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Poland Tornadoes 11-10. The win was some much needed relief for the Skyhawks as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Oriskany's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Poland, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oriskany is set to face off against their familiar foe Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Poland will take on rival Sauquoit Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
