Baseball Recap: Polk County Falls Short of Christ the King in the Playoffs

Polk County and Christ the King squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Polk County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 10-0.

Polk County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peircen Edwards, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Polk County's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Christ the King, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Polk County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christ the King, they will square off against Draughn on Tuesday.
