After flying high against Highland last Friday, Cle Elum-Roslyn came back down to earth. The Warriors took a hard 27-13 fall against Kittitas/Thorp on Friday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cle Elum-Roslyn's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Kittitas/Thorp, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cle Elum-Roslyn will take on rival Goldendale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kittitas/Thorp is set to square off against their familiar foe La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
