Basketball Game Preview: Plainwell Trojans vs. Holland Christian Maroons

The Plainwell Trojans will be taking part in a tournament against the Holland Christian Maroons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plainwell is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Plainwell picked up another tournament win on Friday. They secured a 51-45 W over Parchment. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly six points.

Meanwhile, Holland Christian won against Hastings on Wednesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Holland Christian came out on top against Hamilton by a score of 64-54. Given the Maroons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Hawkeyes are ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holland Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Plainwell's win bumped their record up to 17-6.
