Softball Recap: Central Springs Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Central Springs finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Kennedy Cougars. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Central Springs moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Central Springs has already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Hempstead on the 14th. Kennedy has also already played their next contest (against Norwalk), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
