Volleyball Recap: Granada Takes a Loss

Granada entered their match against McClave on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bobcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered since October 29, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-11.

Camryn Coleman paced Granada's offense, picking up 13 kills. Coleman got some help from Kinsley Williams and her 21 assists. Finally, Coleman was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Granada's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for McClave, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granada will host Springfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McClave, they will welcome Hi-Plains at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
