Fideles Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against The Habersham School Patriots by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Rangers sure are getting used to it with their 19th in a row dating back to last season.

Fideles Christian found their leader in sophomore Gabrels Cromer, who had five aces and one block.

Fideles Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in 19 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

The Habersham School now has a losing record of 1-2.

Fideles Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cherokee Christian on the 9th. Hopefully The Habersham School paid attention to the Rangers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rangers at 3:35 p.m. on Saturday.
