Bolles got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Knauff out in front who went 9-for-14 to rack up 22 points. Knauff is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 40% in the last 12 games she's played. Terrell McCoy was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds.
Bolles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Rutherford was able to grind out a solid win over Newberry on Tuesday, taking the game 56-46.
Rutherford found their leader in sophomore Ka'Nahla Hayes, who went 9-for-13 on her way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Ava Butler, who posted 12 points.

Friday's game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Bolles has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 37.4% of their three-pointers per game. However, it's not like Rutherford struggles in that department as they've made 67.6% of their three-pointers this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Bolles came up short against Rutherford in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 51-39. Can Bolles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
