Softball Recap: HCYA Finishes Even with Fort Bend Christian Academy

On Tuesday, neither HCYA nor the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 tie.

Taegan Lermann spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February.

HCYA's tie makes their record 18-5-4 this season. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they moved theirs to 7-8-1.
