Basketball Recap: Dickinson Picks Up 17th Straight Win on the Road

Dickinson extended their road winning streak to 17 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ciara Williams. The Dickinson Gators enjoyed a cozy 56-37 victory over the Deer Park Deer on Wednesday thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last nine times she's played.

Several Deer players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marisa Vicinanza, who posted four points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Ripley, who scored four points.

Dickinson is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season. As for Deer Park, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-16 record.

As of now, neither Dickinson nor Deer Park have any future games scheduled.
