Volleyball Recap: Old Mill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Old Mill was the 3-0 winner over Chesapeake Science Point when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell 3-1 to Chesapeake Science Point on Thursday.

Old Mill started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-16.

Emma Wishard was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five digs and four aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Old Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Chesapeake Science Point, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Old Mill will challenge North County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chesapeake Science Point, they will square off against Severn Run at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
