Baseball Game Preview: Curie Condors vs. Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats

The Curie Condors will square off against the Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Back of the Yards College Prep took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Curie, who comes in off a win.

Curie is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Hubbard with a sharp 15-2 win on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Condors considering their one-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Back of the Yards College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Hancock, falling 11-0.

Curie's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Back of the Yards College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Curie took their win against Back of the Yards College Prep when the teams last played back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 27-4 score. Will the Condors repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
