This season hasn't been kind to the Hemingway Tigers, who are still winless after their 15th matchup. They were outmatched by Carvers Bay on the road and fell 72-4. Hemingway was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-1.

Geathers-Washington has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Alana Morris was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.

Hemingway dropped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Carvers Bay, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hemingway will take on the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Clarendon presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Tigers in South Carolina (the Wolverines are ranked 117th, while the Tigers are ranked 283rd). As for Carvers Bay, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Johnsonville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
