Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Trinity Academy

Trinity Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the GRACE Christian Eagles 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 24, 2025.

Jacob Bondy made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Trinity Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-10 otherwise.
