Softball Recap: Bishop Alemany Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Bishop Alemany posted their closest win since March 8th on Saturday. They came out on top against the Moorpark Musketeers by a score of 3-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Kalie Peralta spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bishop Alemany's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Katelyn Ortiz, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Bishop Alemany is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Moorpark, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
