Volleyball Recap: Wolcott RVT Comes Up Short

Wolcott RVT lost to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Wolcott RVT sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-8.

Wolcott RVT's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Wolcott RVT does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley, they will square off against Woodstock Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
