Soccer Recap: Louisa County Comes Up Short

Louisa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos. While losing is never fun, Louisa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Fluvanna County are ranked 71st).

Louisa County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fluvanna County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
