Baseball Recap: Bradshaw Mountain Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Bradshaw Mountain proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Prescott Badgers 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on four straight.

Bradshaw Mountain got a great performance from Jeremy Reynolds as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Ty Young and Garison Jones did most of the damage at the plate: Young went 1-for-2 with one home run, while Jones went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That home run marked the first that Young launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Strader, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Bradshaw Mountain's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Prescott, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Bradshaw Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Mohave on the 5th. As for Prescott, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-1 win against Westview on the 4th.
