It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kenton Ridge had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Taylor Yellowjackets get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The win was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after 29 games remain undefeated this season.

Brenna Fyffe was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs. JJ Davis2027 was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Kenton Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 28 consecutive games.

Kenton Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 29-0. As for Taylor, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Kenton Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Licking Valley on the 31st. Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
