Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Cougars vs. South Elgin Storm
Plainfield South lost to South Elgin back in September of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Plainfield South Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Elgin Storm.

Plainfield South can attribute much of their success to Savannah Stepanek, who had six kills and four aces. Stepanek is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
Plainfield South's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for South Elgin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Naperville Central the next time they take the court. Plainfield South will head out to face Naperville Central at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while South Elgin will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
