Volleyball Recap: Rutland Comes Up Short

Rutland lost against Pike County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hurricanes fell 2-0 to the Pirates.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-10.

Rutland's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pike County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Rutland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Westside on the 14th. As for Pike County, they are taking a road trip to take on Locust Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
