Baseball Game Preview: Riverview Sarasota Rams vs. Bonita Springs Bullsharks

Riverview Sarasota is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Bonita Springs a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Riverview Sarasota Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bonita Springs Bullsharks at 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Riverview Sarasota's offense. They fell 3-0 to Hardee on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bonita Springs got themselves on the board against Naples on Thursday, but Naples never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Golden Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bullsharks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Derek Hernandez Jr was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Bonita Springs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Palamino, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bonita Springs' win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Riverview Sarasota, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
