Basketball Recap: Heber Springs Takes a Loss

Heber Springs lost against Star City back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Heber Springs Panthers'2024 ended with a 62-44 loss against the Star City Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Heber Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Star City, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

While Heber Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
