Baseball Game Preview: Central Catholic Vikings vs. North Hills Indians

For the second straight game, Central Catholic will face off against North Hills. The Vikings will host the Indians at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Central Catholic has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Central Catholic's offense. They fell just short of North Hills by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Ryan Tatar was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.

With the win, North Hills broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7. As for Central Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
