Volleyball Recap: Senath-Hornersville Comes Up Short

If Senath-Hornersville was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hayti last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions came up short against the Portageville Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-3, 25-13.

Lexi Priggel was a one-woman wrecking crew For Portageville. as she had 11 assists and six aces. That's the most aces Priggel has posted since back in September of 2024.

Senath-Hornersville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Portageville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-5.

Senath-Hornersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Portageville, they will take on Holcomb at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
