If Moreno Valley was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Rancho Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 16-13 to the Rancho Mirage Rattlers on Friday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mia Licon stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Yahaira Esquivel, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
